Stuff I Enjoy Using: 08.11.2017

Rings! Rings! Rings! I have slowly started to incorporate suspension training/rings into my bodyweight work. There are a few reasons why I’ve started doing it:

A. Allows for great progressions of standing body weight exercises. It forces you to be more aware of your core and posture:
Push-ups
Lunges
Rows
Pull-ups
Dips/Curls
Shoulder Abduction/External Rotation/Flexion/Extension

B. I think it allows for modifications of traditional rehabilitation exercises and can expose weaknesses in your training program or rehabilitation program. I don’t just mean for advancing exercises but even stripping it down and taking a step back to set a stronger foundation.

C. I like it as a supplement to my current training which right now I primarily use barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells.

D. It’s great for travel.
