My 3rd half marathon will be [hopefully] be completed this Saturday morning, in the City of Brotherly Love. I have run this race numerous times in the past but in terms of my 50halfsin50states goal, this will be my 3rd state. I can’t wait for it. The city itself is always rocking and the support throughout the entire race is fantastic. The best part about this weekend is I’ll be running with my cousin and a few patients I have had the pleasure of working with over the course of my time here at the practice (yet somehow I still can’t get a picture on the webiste). My fascination for the Marvel and DC Cinematic and Television universe isn’t a secret. I’m a huge fan of what each of the companies are doing with the movies (especially) and television (could use some improvement). And I’m working currently on some pieces that about how individuals can reach “superhero” status. I was searching around about how I wanted to start this and I found an article comparing Quicksilver vs. The Flash. It was by WIRED Magazine, which always has great articles regardless. But this one was a really fun read. Always Team Quicksilver.
He continues to have great content. And that’s Tony Gentilcore. He wrote a great article on what it takes to make actual progress in training. Regardless of whether you only lift, only run, only yoga. I think you can make modifications for whatever your activity of sport is. Fun read as always.
